As readers of a blog with a name like, Spring Road Superhero Review likely already know, Adam West the iconic Batman from the 1960s television show (as well as the voice of Batman in cartoons like Scooby Doo and Superfriends) died last night after a short battle with leukemia.
While West's Batman was definitely quirky…and done in a style that I felt I quickly “outgrew,” as a person West seems like he was truly a class-act human being. I suspect the world has lost a greater hero than it knows.
